Certification Checklist

There are several steps involved in full certification with the Center for Mindful Business.

  • First, complete all of the initial five courses online. Once that's done, you will automatically receive a 'Certificate of Completion' for the overall course and can refer to yourself as a 'Certified Content Expert' for Mindful Business.

  • Once you've completed the initial coursework, you can then proceed to full teacher certification. Simply email [email protected] to let us know you're ready to proceed. If you complete the course and do not email us, we will send a reminder email to you asking you about your status. You can decide to proceed at any time, but we request that you make best efforts to complete the teacher certification within one-year of sign up.

  • CMB will then contact you for next steps, that will include: 1) An emailed link to take the course called Train-the-Trainer: Teaching Best Practices. 2) Once completed, you will receive another link to complete the CMB Certification Test and will need to pass with a score of 80% or higher (the test may be taken multiple times).

  • Once you've passed with 80% or greater, you will receive: 1) Your Certificate from CMB designating you as a "Center for Mindful Business Certified Teacher". 2) An invite for a 60-min. Q&A/mentor session with CEO, Heather Gwaltney. 3) Access to all webinars and downloadable supplementary materials for at least one year. 4) A listing on the CMB website marketplace as a CMB Certified Teacher.

  • At the end of the process, if you would like to teach through CMB as a Wellness Professional (either to use all of our materials in a co-branding partnership or as a fully-supported contractor), these are the steps to take once the above has been completed. 1) Let us know you would like to join the CMB team with an email to [email protected]. 2) CMB will send you a link for a screening pre-interview poll. 3) If all is okay with the screening poll, you will receive an invitation to interview with CEO, Heather Gwaltney. 4) Assuming we still want to move forward together after the interview (which is what we expect; we just need a process!), you will receive a welcome letter and another invitation for a 30-min orientation session about the company. 5) We will discuss what kind of partnership that works and will provide an offer letter and agreement.
